Rawalpindi: The NUMS Character Building Society (CBS), in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), successfully organized the Seerah Seminar 2026. The seminar focused on promoting the teachings and values of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (?) and provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and knowledge through various competitions.
According to National University of Medical Sciences, the event was supervised by Convener Mr. Waheed Rashid and supported by CBS cabinet members Javeria Naseer, Atika Tariq, Jaisha Musharaf, Mohsin Ali Hamdani, Laiba Waheed, Noorulain, Nayab Nazir, Bushra Javed, Aleezy Mughal, Areej Fatima, and Hoorian Maryam. The seminar featured four major competitions: Calligraphy, Seerah-Based Quiz, Naat, and Qirat, with enthusiastic participation from students of KHINAMS, AFPGMI, and AFIRM. A panel of four judges assessed the performances.
The event was further honored by Brig. Ambreen Sohail (Retd.), COO KHINAMS, Principal of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), whose presence added encouragement. A key highlight was a speaker session in collaboration with Youth Club. Sir Abu Saad, a young speaker, delivered insights on character building and the practical application of Seerah teachings, leaving a strong impression on attendees.
The seminar concluded with an award ceremony recognizing competition winners with certificates and prizes. A special souvenir was presented to Sir Abu Saad in appreciation of his contribution.
