Japanese Delegation Evaluates Laboratory Equipment Needs at UET Lahore

Lahore: A Japanese delegation visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore to discuss the procurement of advanced laboratory equipment under the Japan Grant-in-Aid program. The delegation met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir TI to assess the project's progress and explore the needs of the university's academic and research facilities.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the delegation, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Director of External Linkages, and faculty members, toured a variety of research laboratories. During these visits, the university departments highlighted their equipment requirements and priority needs to bolster teaching, research, and innovation efforts through the proposed grant.

The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude for the Government of Japan's ongoing support for higher education and conveyed optimism that the collaboration would significantly improve UET Lahore's academic and research infrastructure.
