Lahore Hosts 2nd “Al-Kabir” All Pakistan Karate Club Championship 2026

Lahore: The grand opening of the 2nd "Al-Kabir" All Pakistan Karate Club Championship 2026 took place at the WAPDA Sports Complex in Lahore, drawing participants from top karate clubs across the nation. The event is set to be one of the largest club karate gatherings in Pakistan, featuring teams from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, and Islamabad.

According to Pakistan Karate Federation, Mr. Imdad Ullah Memon, General Manager and President of WAPDA Sports Board, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and officially inaugurated the championship. In his remarks, he praised the Pakistan Karate Federation for their efforts in promoting the sport at the grassroots level and providing a national platform for young athletes.

The championship aims to develop karate in Pakistan and nurture athletes for future international competitions. The event will conclude with a closing ceremony scheduled for tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
