KARACHI: IBA Karachi hosted a delegation of senior academics from Bangladesh, aiming to foster academic dialogue and collaboration between institutions from both countries. The event took place at IBA's Main Campus and included representatives from several leading Bangladeshi universities.
According to Center For Information and Communication Technologies, the visiting delegation comprised deans, vice chancellors, heads of departments, directors, faculty members, and senior representatives from prominent institutions such as the University of Rajshahi, University of Dhaka, Chittagong University, and others. The session began with a welcome note by Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, followed by an introduction of the visiting academics.
The visit served as a platform for discussing mutual interests in higher education, strengthening academic linkages, and exploring future collaboration opportunities. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan was also represented, with officials including Mr. Jehanzeb Khan, Project Director, and Mr. Syed Mehboob Ali Shah, Account Officer, attending the event.
This engagement is part of IBA Karachi's ongoing efforts to promote regional academic cooperation and knowledge exchange across South Asia.
