Dr. Asma Zafar Highlights Enzyme Technology at International Life Sciences Conference

Lahore: Dr. Asma Zafar, a faculty member in the Faculty of Science and Technology, participated as an invited speaker at the 3rd International Conference on Life Sciences: Harnessing for Sustainable Health, Environment & Industry. The conference, organized by the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Management and Technology, focused on the integration of life sciences with sustainable practices in various sectors.

According to University of Central Punjab, Dr. Zafar delivered a presentation titled "Harnessing Hyperthermophilic Enzymes for Sustainable Industrial Biotechnology." Her presentation emphasized the industrial significance of thermostable enzymes, showcasing recent advances in recombinant enzyme technology. Dr. Zafar also discussed the applications of these enzymes in sustainable manufacturing and environmental biotechnology, highlighting their potential to contribute to more sustainable industrial processes.
