The University of Haripur Tops Among General Universities in HEC’s Skill Test

Haripur: The University of Haripur (UoH) has achieved a significant accomplishment in the Higher Education Commission's Computing National Skill Competency Test (NSCT), securing the top position among general universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with an average score of 49.70. Overall, UoH ranked third among the 29 public-sector universities in the province.

According to The University of Haripur, the institution's Department of Information Technology (IT) also performed well, securing third place overall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and first among general universities. Prof. Dr. Abid Farid, Vice Chancellor of UoH, congratulated the faculty and students, emphasizing the university's commitment to academic excellence and preparing graduates for competitive job markets. Prof. Dr. Mukhtaj Khan, Dean Faculty of Information Technology and Numerical Sciences, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the department's dedication to computing and technology education.

The Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Department of IT, faculty members, and students. He reaffirmed the university's dedication to enhancing quality education, innovation, and skill development.
