Lahore: The inaugural “Forman’s Legacy Dinner,” hosted by the Advancement and Alumni Office in collaboration with the Formanite Alumni Association, brought together a distinguished group of alumni from Forman Christian College University (FCCU) on May 19, 2026. The event marked a historic gathering of former judges, senior civil servants, corporate leaders, and professionals, celebrating the university’s rich heritage and the achievements of its alumni.

According to Forman Christian College, the evening commenced with opening remarks by Ms. Badia Raza, Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer, who emphasized the importance of lifelong alumni engagement. Mr. Attiazaz Munawwar Ud Din, President of the Formanite Alumni Association, highlighted the significance of collective growth and network strengthening. The event’s Chief Guest, Mr. Mohammadmian Soomro, a distinguished alumnus and former Acting President of Pakistan, reflected on his time at FCCU and the institution’s role in shaping leaders.

Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton, Rector of FCCU, delivered a keynote address reaffirming the university’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement. Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Director General, Civil Services Academy, also addressed the gathering, acknowledging FCCU’s contributions to public service. The evening featured the presentation of the Distinguished Formanite Alumni Awards 2026 to Mr. Aezaz Hussain and Mr. Zafar Masud for their significant contributions to the technology and banking sectors, respectively.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening alumni connections and preserving the legacy of FCCU, as highlighted by the presence of prominent alumni, including former Chief Justices and leaders from various sectors.
