UET Lahore Hosts Hybrid Workshop on LinkedIn and Digital Branding


LAHORE: UET Lahore recently organized a hybrid workshop titled “Enhancing Personal and Institutional Brand: Strategic Use of LinkedIn and Social Media,” which brought together 40 participants from its five campuses. The event was facilitated by Ms. Rabel Hina and focused on personal branding and strategic use of digital platforms.



According to University of Engineering and Technology, the workshop took place on May 20, 2026, at the Conference Room, VC Office, and was conducted through the Continuing Engineering Education and Training Center (CEETC). It featured both physical and online participation, allowing attendees to engage in hands-on activities such as LinkedIn profile optimization and professional networking. Key figures at the event included Prof. Dr. S. Mohsin Ali Kazmi and Prof. Dr. Farhan Saeed, with Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat serving as the Chief Guest.



Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat praised CEETC’s efforts in fostering a digitally connected learning environment and highlighted the leadership of Dr.-Ing. Izzat Iqbal Cheema for promoting professional development initiatives. Dr.-Ing. Cheema emphasized the importance of collaborative engagement to enhance the university’s digital presence and professional identity.
