University Students Gain Insight into Pharmaceutical Manufacturing During Industry Visit

Lahore: Students from the Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry at the University of Central Punjab visited Pharmagen Pharmaceutical Industry, gaining firsthand experience in modern pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques and practices. The visit was part of an educational initiative aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

According to University of Central Punjab, the visit included notable faculty members Dr. Muhammad Afzal, Dr. Muhammad Riaz, and Dr. Momal Akram, who provided insights into manufacturing techniques, good manufacturing practices, and research and development processes. During the tour, students explored various departments, including production, quality assurance, quality control laboratories, and storage facilities, enabling them to observe advanced instruments and production systems used in the pharmaceutical industry.

The visit offered an industry-oriented learning experience, allowing students to enhance their understanding of the practical aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
