Sargodha: A ceremony at the University of Sargodha marked the distribution of scholarship cheques to five female students under the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women and Girls 2025-26, orchestrated by the British Council. The event aimed to support female students in their academic pursuits.

According to University of Sargodha, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Qaiser Abbas attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presented the scholarships. He lauded the British Council's initiative and motivated the students to strive for academic achievements. The event saw participation from key university figures, including Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Registrar Waqaar Ahmed, Treasurer Muhammad Anwar, Director One Health Professor Dr. Zafar Hayat, and Director Academics Dr. Uzma Shahzadi.
