UCP Delegation and EPA Punjab Form Partnership for Environmental Research

Lahore: A delegation from the University of Central Punjab (UCP) met with officials at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab Green Building Headquarters to discuss a partnership aimed at advancing environmental research and sustainability. The meeting focused on potential collaborations in monitoring technologies, regulatory frameworks, and governance.

According to University of Central Punjab, the delegation was led by Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed and Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh. They were received by EPA Director General Mr. Imran Hamid Sheikh and other officials. The discussions highlighted UCP's contributions, including nanotechnology-based wastewater treatment systems and the utilization of the university's Multi-Satellite Ground Station and Aviation Data Hub for air pollution analytics.
