Faisalabad: The National Textile University (NTU) Faisalabad has commenced its much-anticipated inter-departmental tug-of-war competitions, with teams from all departments actively participating in the event. The opening match featured Muhammad Aslam, Deputy Director of Planning and Development (Pand D), as the chief guest. Aslam was formally introduced to both competing teams prior to the match.
According to National Textile University, the event aims to promote healthy physical activity and foster camaraderie among students from various academic departments. The opening ceremony also saw the presence of Sports Officer Imran Ali Gill, Muhammad Hanif, Sajid Anwar, and Sardar Pervaiz Akhtar, Public Relations Officer, who accompanied the chief guest. The series of matches is expected to be a spirited display of teamwork and competition among the university’s students.
