According to Free and Fair Election Network, the statistics are derived from district-wise electoral roll data released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on December 30, 2025. These statistics were cross-referenced with population estimates based on the 2023 Digital Census. The 2025 population estimate, applying a 2.2% annual growth rate, projects Charsadda’s population at 1,917,155, from a base of 1,835,504. With 1.1 million registered voters, Charsadda ranks 28th nationally in voter registration rate and 12th within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The gender breakdown of registered voters reveals 613,520 males and 513,963 females, with 62% of males and 56% of females registered. The district ranks 47th by population size nationally and is represented by two Members of the National Assembly.

Charsadda's higher registration rate is attributed to rules from the 2023 Digital Census, where household members absent for over six months were not counted at their home address. Instead, they were recorded at their current residence, often in urban centers or abroad, leaving a smaller population denominator for voter registration calculations. Many residents remain registered in Charsadda due to their permanent CNIC address despite being enumerated elsewhere.
