IIUI President Hosts Iftar for Faisal Mosque Security Personnel

Islamabad: The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, hosted an Iftar gathering in honor of the police and security personnel, including the Anti-Terrorist Squad, responsible for the security at Faisal Mosque. The event aimed to recognize the essential services provided by these personnel during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the gathering was organized to express appreciation for the officers' dedication and service under challenging conditions. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed welcomed the officers and staff, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging their role in maintaining the safety and security of one of Pakistan's key religious sites.

During his remarks, Prof. Dr. Alahmed stressed that the initiative was a recognition of labor, dignity, and service, rather than an act of charity. He highlighted the gesture as a reflection of Islamic principles such as brotherhood, equality, and mutual respect, which are central to the spirit of Ramadan.

He also noted that IIUI, as a symbol of the enduring friendship between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity, gratitude, and social responsibility. The President underscored the importance of acknowledging the often unseen yet vital contributions of security personnel.
