Lahore: The Faculty of Engineering has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Engineering Council to enhance collaboration between academia and industry. This partnership is designed to facilitate the organization and delivery of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, which aim to support skill enhancement, professional growth, and alignment with industry standards for engineers and industry professionals.
According to University of Central Punjab, the collaboration seeks to address the evolving needs of the engineering sector by providing structured opportunities for ongoing learning and development. The MoU outlines a framework for both entities to work together in designing CPD activities that are relevant to current industry practices and technological advancements. The initiative is expected to bolster the professional capabilities of engineers, ensuring they remain competitive and well-equipped to meet the demands of their field.
