TURBAT: The University of Turbat (UoT) organized a seminar to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day, aligning with other public sector universities in reaffirming support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The event aimed to shed light on the historical context of the Kashmir issue and to advocate for a peaceful resolution in line with United Nations resolutions.
According to University of Turbat, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Director of Public Relations Ijaz Ahmed, Political Science Lecturer Munir Ahmed, and Director of Student Affairs Chakar Hyder spoke at the seminar. They urged the international community to address the longstanding dispute and emphasized the need for respecting the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination.
The seminar was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics Dr. Adeel Ahmed, and a substantial number of students, faculty, and administrative staff. Participants reiterated Pakistan's commitment to continue offering moral, political, and diplomatic support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for freedom.
