Lahore: Mr. Javaid Hamid, Chairman of the Board at SEAF-USA, announced the creation of a scholarship endowment during his visit to the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. The "Sayyid Hamid Scholarship," named in honor of his late father, will provide both need-based and merit scholarships to support the academic endeavors of UET students.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Hamid's announcement came during a meeting with Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore. The endowment fund aims to facilitate the academic growth and success of deserving students. The meeting was also attended by Engr. Ahmad Naveed, Director of the Alumni Office, along with alumni Mr. Karamatullah Chaudhary and Mr. Niaz. UET Lahore expressed its gratitude for the initiative and anticipates announcing the recipients of the inaugural scholarships soon.
