Karachi: On the fifth day of the "Awami Theatre Festival 2026" organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the stage drama "Yeh Kaisa Dor Hai" was presented. The writer and director of the drama was renowned actor Zakir Mastana. In the drama, Shakeel Shah, Shahbaz Sanam, Shanzay, Sapna, Parvez Siddiqui, Ali Zakir, and Akram Sonu entertained the audience with their performances. A large number of spectators were present in the hall to watch the drama.

According to Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the story of the drama revolves around the misuse of social media. It depicts a middle-class family in which, out of four members, the mother and son remain busy making TikTok videos and non-serious vlogs, while the father and daughter advise them not to upload household videos on social media. The plot develops from this conflict, leading to a dramatic incident where the son, while making a video, accidentally injures a child. Following the incident, the police arrest the boy, who is later released on bail by the court. The drama concludes with the mother and son acknowledging their mistake and expressing regret. The production effectively conveyed the message that while mobile phones and social media can be useful, their misuse can lead to social problems, highlighting the need for responsible usage.
