LAHORE: Punjab University, in partnership with the Lahore Alhamra Arts Council, is set to inaugurate the 'Dekho Film Festival' today at 10 a.m. The event will take place at the Alhamra Arts Council and will span two days.

According to University of the Punjab, the festival will commence with an opening ceremony attended by prominent figures in the film industry. Among the attendees will be Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, esteemed film directors Syed Noor and Shahzad Rafiq, and film star Meera.

The 'Dekho Film Festival' aims to bring together filmmakers, students, and the public to celebrate cinema and foster discussions on the role of film in society. The collaboration between Punjab University and the Alhamra Arts Council underscores an ongoing commitment to promoting cultural and educational initiatives within the region.
