Lahore: UET Faisalabad emerged victorious in the University of Engineering and Technology's Inter-Faculties Male Cricket Hard Ball Championship for the 2025-2026 season, defeating UET KSK Campus by seven wickets in the final match. The championship, held from December 22 to January 5, was organized by the UET Lahore Sports Department and featured teams from various campuses including Faisalabad, New Campus, Narowal, and RCET Gujranwala, competing in a knockout format.

The climactic final saw UET Faisalabad overpowering their opponents, with standout performances leading to their triumphant victory. Zain-ul-Abideen, a student from the Faisalabad Campus, earned the title of Man of the Match for his exceptional contributions to his team's success.

At the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Rafiq, Chairman of the Sports Committee, and Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain, UET KSK Campus Coordinator, awarded medals and trophies to the winning and runner-up teams. They also commended the UET Sports Department for their efforts in organizing the tournament and expressed gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir for his support in promoting sports within the university.

The championship not only highlighted the competitive spirit among the various campuses but also underscored the university's commitment to fostering athletic talent and sportsmanship among its students.
