Karachi: Day 2 of the Karate Event at the 35th National Games 2025 concluded with notable achievements and a significant farewell, highlighting a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s karate history.

Saadi Ghulam Abbass of Pak WAPDA, an accomplished athlete with Asian and Commonwealth Gold Medals, secured the Gold Medal in the Below 84kg category. This victory extends his impressive 30-year career in national karate.

In the team standings, Pakistan Army took the lead in both the men’s and women’s categories. WAPDA and Punjab followed in the men’s category, while Punjab and WAPDA secured second and third positions in the women’s category, respectively.
