Lahore: Abbas Afridi will lead Pakistan in the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes tournament, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The event is scheduled to take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong from November 7 to 9.
The tournament will feature 12 teams divided into four groups of three. Pakistan has been placed in Pool C and is set to compete in its group matches on November 7. The team is scheduled to depart for Hong Kong on November 5.
The Pakistan squad includes Abbas Afridi as captain, alongside Abdul Samad, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Shahzad, Saad Masood, and Shahid Aziz. Danish Aziz and Mohammad Faiq have been named as non-traveling reserves.
The Hong Kong Sixes is known for its fast-paced format, and Pakistan will be looking to make an impact under the leadership of Afridi.
