Peshawar: Mustafa Irfan and Abdur Rehman claimed victory in the under-17 and under-11 categories respectively at the All Pakistan National Junior Boys Squash Championship. Irfan dominated Abdullah Zaman, winning 3-0 in a thrilling final match. Rehman also secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Anas Rafay in the under-11 final.
The concluding day of the competition at Qayyum Stadium attracted a capacity crowd, highlighting the increasing popularity of squash in the nation. Dignitaries present included Dawood Khan, Secretary of the Public Health and Engineering Department, Qamer Zaman, Mohibullah Khan, Director of Academies at the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), Group Captain Irfan Asghar, and representatives from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Federation Association, along with numerous squash aficionados.
The tournament showcased the skills of some of the best young squash players from throughout Pakistan, solidifying its status as a prominent national sporting event.
