UCP Fosters Entrepreneurial Spirit With Startup Launch Course

Islamabad: The University of Central Punjab’s Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) recently held a course aimed at nurturing the next generation of business innovators. The program, “Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Startup Launch,” took place at the Takhleeq Business Incubator.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, ORIC Director, opened the session, emphasizing the crucial role of entrepreneurial thinking, inventive approaches, and market awareness for aspiring business executives.

Mr. Yaser Amir Awan, Director of Research and Innovation at Takhleeq, addressed the foundations of entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial mindset, and the current startup environment in Pakistan. He provided guidance on the challenges new ventures often face.

Muhammad Javed Afzal, Regional Chief of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA), explored entrepreneurship as a career path, encouraging attendees to pursue novel initiatives and transform concepts into viable businesses.

The comprehensive summer course provided attendees with the necessary knowledge, abilities, and practical resources to establish thriving startups.
