More Scholarships Granted to University of Chitral Students

Chitral: The University of Chitral is set to receive an increased number of scholarships for its students following a meeting between the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, and Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal. The announcement was made during a session where the Vice Chancellor presented the university’s progress and the educational challenges faced by the local community.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah introduced the newly established university and emphasized the progress it has made in a short time despite facing numerous obstacles. He highlighted the unique challenges faced by students in the Chitral region in accessing higher education and advocated for more scholarship opportunities for them compared to other universities in the country.

In response, Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt acknowledged the efforts and vision of the Vice Chancellor. He not only agreed to increase the number of scholarships for the students of the University of Chitral but also expressed a strong interest in collaborating on projects aimed at youth development in the region.
