Police Arrest 5 IJT Activists for Attack on University Guards

LAHORE: Police have detained five members of the student organization Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) following an altercation with security personnel at Punjab University. The arrests were made after the activists allegedly attacked university guards and threatened a security officer with death.

According to a spokesperson from Punjab University, the incident involved the arrest of IJT’s motmad, Sohaib Fakhri, who is accused of issuing life threats to a security officer.
