Fatima Sana’s Conquerors Lead National Women’s T20 Tournament with Unbeaten Record

Karachi: After four rounds of the National Women’s T20 Tournament 2024-25, Fatima Sana’s Conquerors claim the top spot with an unblemished record, marking three wins out of three matches. The competition, featuring five teams, is taking place across two venues in Karachi.

The tournament spans a total of 22 matches, divided into 10 rounds of double headers, culminating in a Qualifier and a final scheduled for May 24 at the National Bank Stadium.

Currently, the Sidra Amin-led Stars are in second place with two victories from three matches, their only defeat coming at the hands of the Challengers. The Challengers hold the third position, having secured one win in three outings. Their recent match against the Muneeba Ali-led Invincibles was a close contest, resulting in the Invincibles’ first win in four games.

Strikers, with a single win in three matches, are positioned fifth due to net run-rate. Fatima Sana leads the batting with 173 runs, including two notable half-centuries, batting at number five for the Conquerors. Sidra Amin and Muneeba Ali follow closely with 171 and 162 runs respectively.

In the bowling department, Tuba Hassan of the Stars and Saima Malik of the Invincibles are tied as leading wicket-takers, each claiming seven wickets. Rameen Shamim, Waheeda Akhtar, Zaib-un-Nisa Niaz, and Omaima Sohail have each taken five wickets.

Sidra Nawaz tops the wicket-keeping charts with seven dismissals, while Muneeba Ali and Najiha Alvi have five and three respectively. In the fielding category, Ayesha Zafar, Nashra Sundhu, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah have each taken three catches.
