Faisalabad: The School of Science, specifically the Department of Computer Science, clinched the title in the Inter-Departmental Table Tennis Championship 2025 held at the National Textile University. The team secured their win against the Department of Textile Engineering, Garments Manufacturing, School of Engineering and Technology, with a decisive 2-0 victory in the final match.
The championship final drew the presence of Mr. Muzzamal Hussain, Director of the National Center for Composite Materials, who served as the chief guest. Mr. Hussain introduced both competing teams and commended their sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
Dr. Danish Mahmood Baitab, Advisor to Students, took on the role of chief guest during the semi-final stage of the tournament, further emphasizing the university’s support for student activities.
Sports Officers Imran Ali Gill and Sardar Parvez Akhtar were also in attendance, offering praise for the participants’ dedication and teamwork. The event highlighted the talents of students and fostered a strong culture of sportsmanship within the university community.
