Rawalpindi: At a meeting of the Central Convenience of Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya (TNFJ), Professor Hasan Naqvi urged the appointment of convenors to organize national celebrations in honor of Hazrat Sayeda Zainab, the revered figure in Shia Islam known for her resilience and teachings. The event marks the beginning of the “Days of Aqilah Bani Hashim” from the 3rd to the 5th of Jumada Al-Awwal, commemorating her birth anniversary with gatherings and educational events across Pakistan.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Naqvi highlighted during the meeting the enduring impact of Hazrat Zainab’s legacy on resisting oppression. Appointments of regional convenors across various provinces including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan were announced to ensure the widespread observance of the event. These representatives are tasked with organizing Milad gatherings, conferences, and speeches that recount the life and contributions of Hazrat Zainab.
Naqvi’s address also called on citizens to stand in solidarity with oppressed communities globally, including Palestine, Lebanon, and Kashmir, during these commemorations. He emphasized that Hazrat Zainab’s life is a beacon for those fighting against tyranny and that her actions after the martyrdom of her brother, Hussain, were pivotal in safeguarding Islam from the threats posed by dictatorship and monarchy.
