University of Haripur Elects New Members to Syndicate Under Section 22

Haripur: The University of Haripur has announced the election of two new administrative officers to its syndicate, aligning with the mandates of Section 22 of the University Authorities Statutes 2016. The elected members, Mr. Ayaz Ahmad and Ms. Humaira Zaman, will serve for a three-year term beginning August 17, 2024.

According to The University of Haripur, the election process was held on September 03, 2024, under the guidance of Section 22 (1) (p) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012 (Amended 2016). Mr. Ahmad, serving as Assistant Treasurer, and Ms. Zaman, Deputy Registrar, were chosen for their roles in a vote that underscores the university’s commitment to participatory governance and leadership diversity within its administration.

The responsibilities of the syndicate members include overseeing academic standards, financial management, and strategic planning at the university. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance decision-making processes and academic integrity at the University of Haripur.
