Islamabad Observes Martyrdom Day of Masooma Sakina Bint Al Hussain with Solemn Devotion

Islamabad: The Martyrdom Day of Masooma Sakina Bint Al Hussain (A.S.) was observed on Monday with deep religious fervor, devotion, and respect. The commemoration, organized by Quaid-e-Mlat Jafaria Aghasyed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi and led by the Women’s Central Assembly, took place on the 6th of Safar, marking the conclusion of Ushra Shaheedah Zindan.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Umm Zeeshan Naqvi, central convener of the organization’s Ushra Shaheeda Zindan Committee, emphasized the importance of government-provided security during the mourning events. The day included processions and mourning gatherings where the coffin of Hazrat Sakina (A.S.) was prominently featured. The events served to honor her life, recognized as a guiding light for those committed to justice and righteousness.

The main commemorative event featured a Central Mourning Majlis for Women held at the Central Imam Bargah of Jamia Al-Murtazaji in Islamabad, followed by a procession in the evening. Distinguished speakers, including Allama Syed Qamar Haiderzidi and Allama Shabia Al-Hasan Kazmi, addressed the gatherings, highlighting the historical and spiritual significance of Sakina’s sacrifices. The events not only remembered her as a symbol of patience and resilience but also as a voice of truth against tyranny, reflecting on her enduring legacy in the face of oppression.
