President Asif Ali Zardari Honors Abdul Sattar Edhi’s Humanitarian Legacy on Death Anniversary

Islamabad: On Monday, President Asif Ali Zardari commemorated the death anniversary of Abdul Sattar Edhi, celebrating his vast contributions to humanitarian efforts in Pakistan. Edhi, who passed away on July 8, 2016, founded the Edhi Foundation, a cornerstone of Pakistan’s social services.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari praised Edhi’s unparalleled commitment to helping the underprivileged without regard to race, faith, or social status. He highlighted Edhi’s establishment of a comprehensive network of social services including hospitals, orphanages, and shelters across the country.
