Mardan: Women University Mardan (WUM) has announced a significant partnership with the Inter-University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana. This alliance aims to advance social sciences, arts, and humanities education and research.

The MoU signing ceremony saw participation from key university figures, including the Head of the Department of Biotechnology and the Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC). Their presence underscored the university’s focus on fostering research and academic collaboration.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Sultana acknowledged the efforts of ORIC and the Department of Biotechnology in facilitating the agreement. She noted that the collaboration would enhance academic excellence and research culture while building valuable national and international linkages.

Through the partnership, WUM becomes part of a large consortium dedicated to the advancement of social sciences in Pakistan. The agreement will facilitate joint research initiatives, faculty development, training workshops, and student engagement activities, aligning with WUM’s mission to provide quality education and societal impact.
