University of Sargodha Rallies for Flood Relief with Ongoing Fundraising Campaign

Sargodha: The University of Sargodha has sustained its efforts to aid flood-affected families through an ongoing fundraising campaign. A relief camp has been established at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, drawing active participation from faculty, officers, and staff who have made substantial contributions to the initiative.

Among those present at the relief camp were Controller of Examinations Dr. Rehana Ilyas, Director Student Affairs Dr. Mehmood ul Hassan, Chairperson of the Department of Psychology Dr. Najma Iqbal, Director of the Riaz Shad Co-Curricular Forum Dr. Muhammad Munir Gujar, Chief Security Officer Col. (R) Ishtiaq Ahmad, and Chairman of the Department of Sociology Dr. Shehzad Khawar Mushtaq, along with numerous staff members.

In her remarks, Dr. Rehana Ilyas highlighted the importance of supporting flood victims as a collective moral, national, and humanitarian obligation. She urged the attendees to make sacrifices to aid those in distress, noting that even a modest contribution could provide hope to affected families.

Dr. Ilyas called on students, faculty, and the local community to step forward with donations to facilitate immediate relief and supply essential items to the victims.

The campaign is set to continue across various departments and institutions in the upcoming days, with the aim of maximizing support for those impacted by the floods.
