Islamabad: Following the conclusion of recent limited-overs series, several Pakistani bowlers have ascended the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings, while England’s Jofra Archer has edged closer to the summit of the ODI bowling chart.
Pakistan’s bowlers shone in their tri-series triumph against Afghanistan and the UAE. Left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem jumped seven positions to 15th, pacer Shaheen Afridi climbed four spots to 22nd, and leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed soared 39 places to joint-27th. Player of the Series, Mohammad Nawaz, also climbed 13 places to 30th.

The England-South Africa ODI series also impacted the rankings. Jofra Archer’s eight wickets, including a 4/18 haul in the final match, propelled him 16 places to third in the ODI bowling rankings, just behind top-ranked Keshav Maharaj.
Adil Rashid (eighth), Joe Root (19th), Jos Buttler (35th), and Jacob Bethell (65th) all improved their positions in the ODI rankings for England.
