Kuala Lumpur: The ASF Platinum Junior Squash event, known as the 17th KL International Junior Open Squash Championship 2025, has commenced in Kuala Lumpur, featuring participants from 23 nations.

Mustafa Irfan of Pakistan is making a notable impact in the Under-17 category. Irfan has advanced through the initial stages of the competition, securing victories in his first and second round matches with a decisive 3-0 scoreline.

As the tournament progresses, Irfan is set to face a Malaysian opponent in the third round. His performance so far has positioned him as a strong contender in the championship.
