Kazakhstan-Pakistan Relations Explored at NUST Keynote

Islamabad: The Nust Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS) hosted a keynote address by H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, focusing on the potential cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The event, titled “Pakistan-Kazakhstan Relations: Avenues of Cooperation,” took place at the CIPS Auditorium on December 2, 2025.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H), the Journal of Strategic Peace & Policy (JSPPL), and NUST Law School (NLS). It attracted a diverse audience, including diplomats, scholars, policy experts, government officials, and members of the NUST faculty and student body.

During his address, Ambassador Kistafin discussed the strategic importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. He emphasized various sectors where both countries could collaborate, including trade, energy, and education.

The keynote provided a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas among attendees, underscoring the commitment of both countries to foster closer ties.
