Lahore: The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), in conjunction with the UCP International Office, conducted its inaugural training session on Outcome Based Education (OBE). The session, overseen by the Pro-Rector Office, marked a significant step towards aligning the university’s curriculum with international standards.
Faculty members from multiple departments participated actively in discussions centered on Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) or Graduate Attributes, and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs). These discussions aimed to integrate global best practices into UCP’s academic framework.
The event underscored the university’s commitment to academic excellence through the adoption of OBE, a student-centered approach that focuses on achieving specific competencies and outcomes.
