Grace Academy Triumphs in PCB Talent Hunt, Advances to Nationals

Karachi: Grace Academy of Learning Secondary School Karachi emerged as the Sindh Champion in the PCB Talent Hunt Program for School Cricket, securing a decisive victory over Aspire School Benazirabad by six wickets at Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad. This win propels them to the next stage of the All Pakistan PCB Talent Hunt Programme.

The match featured notable performances, particularly from batsmen Haider Ali, who scored 83 runs, and Maqsood Ali, who added 61 runs. Their contributions were instrumental in achieving the target set by Aspire School.

Following the match, Shakeel Qureshi, President of the District Cricket Association Hyderabad, awarded the prizes. Muhammad Khan, the captain of Grace Academy, received the winner’s trophy, while Abuzar Abid, captain of Aspire School, accepted the runner-up trophy.

In the match, Aspire School posted a total of 198 runs, with significant scores from Abuzar Abid, who made 49 runs. Grace Academy successfully chased the target, reaching 202/4 in 31.4 overs, with Muhammad Bilal and Muhammad Ibrahim also contributing with the bat.

The victory at Niaz Stadium marks an important step for Grace Academy as they prepare to compete at the national level in the All Pakistan PCB Talent Hunt Programme.
