Lahore: An interdisciplinary workshop at Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU), in collaboration with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), recently united a diverse group of students and professionals to discuss the integration of business and healthcare sectors. The event featured prominent guests from the US Consulate, alongside notable Pakistani academics and industry leaders, focusing on fostering a collaborative environment for innovation.
According to Fatima Jinnah Medical University – Lahore, the workshop was attended by US Consulate members Mr. Sandeep Paul and Mr. Tanveer Abbas, and was part of Project Tabeer—a LUMS initiative aimed at enhancing skills among university-based business incubators across Punjab. Discussions at the event highlighted the ongoing projects at FJMU’s Business Incubation Centre, which are designed to integrate business strategies with healthcare practices.
The session included presentations from various educators and industry professionals, including FJMU’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, who discussed the potential benefits of cooperation between the institutions.
