UoT’s 22nd ASRB Meeting Highlights Commitment to Research Excellence

Turbat: The University of Turbat held the 22nd meeting of its Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) on June 30, 2025, emphasizing the institution’s dedication to fostering a robust research environment. Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of the University, chaired the session, underscoring the significance of enhancing the quality of graduate research.

During the meeting, Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director of Graduate Studies, presented key agenda items, which addressed synopsis defenses, thesis submissions, evaluations, and viva reports across various graduate programs. These academic matters were meticulously reviewed and approved by the board members, adhering to university policies and the guidelines set forth by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

The gathering saw participation from Faculty Deans, the Registrar, Director of QEC, Director of ORIC, and the Principal of Government Shaheed Ayoub Buledi College, Turbat.
