Turbat, The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Turbat (UoT) conducted an awareness session for students on the “Policy Hackathon” on November 3, 2023. The event, in collaboration with the Social Innovation Academy (SIA) and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), aimed to educate students about the details and application process for the upcoming event.

According to University of Turbat, the virtual session featured Mr. Ali Zain, CEO of the Social Innovation Academy, who spoke on the importance of innovation and a people-centric approach in addressing social challenges. Dr. Amir Zeb of UoT facilitated the session, setting the stage for future cooperation with SIA. Dr. Naeemullah, Director of ORIC, welcomed the partnership with SIA, emphasizing the university’s eagerness to engage in the Policy Hackathon, reflecting the session’s overall positive reception from the attendees.
