Jamshoro: The University of Sindh Jamshoro has announced a temporary suspension of all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities on campus to enhance the teaching environment and maintain academic discipline.
According to University of Sindh, the Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Yunus Laghari, issued a circular stating the decision aims to prioritize classroom teaching and ensure efficient class conduct during the second semester of 2024. The suspension is seen as a necessary measure to focus students and faculty on educational objectives. However, the circular also noted that some flexibility would be allowed for activities deemed essential for students’ academic or personal development, which can be resumed with proper justification and official approval through a prescribed system.
