Turkish Red Crescent distributed relief items to flood victims in Thatta

Karachi, September 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):A Turkish Red Crescent Society delegation and the Sindh Branch of Pakistan Red Crescent distributed a package of 150 Non-Food Items (NFIs) and 50 Food Items (FIs) to flood-affected families in Sajawal, Thatta District. The Turkish Red Crescent and Qatar Red Crescent delegations became very impressed and appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Red Crescent-Sindh after visiting their free medical camp organized for flood-affected people in Thatta, where more than 700 patients, including men, women, and children, were treated and given free medicines.

Kanwar Waseem, Provincial Secretary of Pakistan Red Crescent-Sindh, thanked the Turkish Red Crescent for distributing the relief items to flood-affected families. “More flood-afflicted people are waiting for assistance. We are all trying hard, but to provide relief to the maximum number of people can only be possible with the help of philanthropists and donors, so come forward and join hands with Pakistan Red Crescent for flood victims,” urged Provincial Secretary.
