TNFJ Announces Convenors for ‘Global Week of Unity and Brotherhood’ to Celebrate the Prophet’s Birth

Islamabad: The Tehreek Nifaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria (TNFJ) has announced the appointment of convenors across various regions to orchestrate the ‘Global Week of Unity and Brotherhood.’ This initiative, set to commence on Tuesday, is in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) alongside the anniversary of Hazrat Jafar Ibn Muhammad. The announcement was made during a central committee meeting led by TNFJ’s Vice President, Syed Farzand Ali Kazmi.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the event is aimed at fostering global peace and unity by emulating the virtues of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his descendant, Imam Jafar Sadiq. During the meeting, convenors for the nationwide programs were finalized, with representatives designated for Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Azad Kashmir, Punjab, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The central vice president expressed that the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday is not only a time of joy but also a moment to reaffirm the commitment to his teachings, emphasizing his role as a mercy to mankind and a leader of prophetic message.

Shaukat Abbas Jafari, chairman of the Unity and Brotherhood Committee of TNFJ, urged all communities and schools to engage actively in the week’s activities, which will include processions, Milad-ul-Nabi meetings, Naat recitations, and seminars focused on enhancing the understanding of Islamic teachings. He emphasized the importance of these events in promoting the security and stability of the nation, the elevation of the Islamic world, and the eradication of global terrorism.
