Bahawalpur, May 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): The campus of Islamia University Bahawalpur in Khanpur will be the beginning of a new era of socio-economic development in the area. Vice Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob is playing a historic role in promoting higher education in Wasib. This was expressed by the well-known intellectual Zahoor Dharija during a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob. Director Career Counselling Shahid Afzal Durrani and Senior Staff Officer Waseem Ahmed Siddiqui were also present on this occasion.
Zahoor Dharija said that the establishment of Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan and the wonderful development and expansion of Islamia University Bahawalpur is due to Dr. Athar Mehboob. The building of Cadet College at Khanpur is very suitable for Islamia University Bahawalpur campus. This campus may later become a regular university. The Vice Chancellor has said that modern subjects like health sciences, nursing, agriculture and information technology will be taught in Khanpur. Vice-Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob expressed special gratitude to Zahoor Dharija for his visit to the university
