Talha Ali Memorial, Pak Shaheen, and Mujahid Gymkhana Secure Wins in Master Oil Interclub Cricket Tournament

Karachi: In the latest round of the Master Oil Interclub Cricket Tournament, three clubs—Talha Ali Memorial Cricket Club, Pak Shaheen Cricket Club, and Mujahid Gymkhana—each clinched victories in their respective matches. The tournament, which is being held under the aegis of the Regional Cricket Association Karachi and supported by Master Oil Lubricants, saw impressive performances, including a standout century and decisive bowling efforts.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the first match featured Talha Ali Memorial Cricket Club overcoming Korangi Friends by five wickets. Korangi Friends set a challenging target with Waleed Mir scoring 167 runs, but it was Abdul Basit of Talha Ali Memorial who stole the show with a remarkable century, scoring 194 runs to secure the win for his team. The club reached the target in just 26.2 overs.

In the second match, Pak Shaheen Cricket Club also registered a victory by five wickets against Bob Woolmer Cricket Club. Key performances included Rashid Hussain scoring 49 runs and Taha Khan contributing 42 runs, enabling Pak Shaheen to chase down the required total effectively.

The third match saw Mujahid Gymkhana dominate Modern Cricket Club, achieving a comprehensive nine-wicket win. Modern Cricket Club was restricted to just 105 runs, with Nasit Bukhari delivering a powerful bowling performance for Mujahid Gymkhana. In reply, Sikandar Hassan’s swift 50 runs and Burhan Mehmood’s unbeaten 39 runs led their team to a quick victory, wrapping up the match in 14 overs.

These matches highlight the competitive spirit and skill level of the participating teams in the tournament, setting the stage for more thrilling cricket as the event progresses.
