Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):ORIC-DSU arranged its first steering committee meeting on 22nd March 2023 at the conference room. The progress of ORIC made over the last 6 months was presented to the steering committee and improvements were proposed by the experts to the policies under development by ORIC-DSU. Dr. Ahmad Hussain presented the activities conducted by ORIC and the Honourable PVC Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas chaired the meeting. Engr. Syed Muhammad Khubaib presented proposed 5-year plan to the committee and the committee discussed the improvements to be made in the plan. The committee also highlighted the thematic areas such as Energy, water, agriculture and waste management towards which the ORIC should focus on.

Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD) and DHA SUFFA University (DSU). The MoU aims to fortify corporate linkages with the scholarly world industry and to achieve both the expert and academic improvement of understudies with an exceptional spotlight on upscaling delicate abilities, IT abilities, and computerized abilities, through the plan of workshops, courses, training, and comparable occasions that give them openness, helpful learning, a continuous understanding into the business, and the opportunity to collaborate with and gain from industry specialists.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mohsin Ahmad Bhatti, Head of Digital and New Initiatives, PSTD, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Minhas, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DSU. On this occasion Ms. Tehseen Azhar, Director of Alumni Relations and Ms. Farah Fazli, Head of Marketing, PSTD were also present.

Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Office of Alumni Relations, in collaboration with its Corporate Partner Qube – Health and Wellness, organized a Free Skin Care Camp and Grooming Session for the DSU Fraternity. The camp and session took place at DSU’s Executive Lecture.

Theatre ELT on Tuesday, 21st March 2023, in which 30+ DSU Fraternity members, including Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff, participated and availed the free consultation services. Upon the requests of DSU Fraternity members, Qube – Health and Wellness has agreed to hold another similar activity at the DSU campus soon.

Karachi, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):“Present IELTS” Roadshow – Stage 1 was organized by ILO, Mechanical Engineering Department for Final Semester Students on 20th March 2023. The session was conducted by IELTS staff member, Mr. Muhammad Sufyan. He gave the presentation about IDP and IELTS, IDP’s history, an overview of IELTS, and FAQs followed by Q and A session and tips on passing the IELTS exam with flying colours.
