Spring 2025 Orientation Welcomes New Students at IoBM

Karachi: The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) held its Spring 2025 Orientation, welcoming newly inducted students and providing them with insights into their academic journey. The event, guided by Ms. Sabina Mohsin, Vice President of the Foundation for Higher Education and Chief Advisor at IoBM, was marked by collaborative efforts from the Admissions Department and aimed at offering a comprehensive introduction to the institution’s offerings.

According to a statement by Institute of Business Management, the orientation event commenced with a documentary screening that showcased campus life and opportunities available to students. This was followed by a Quranic recitation by Muhammad Sohaib, an MBA student, setting a reflective tone for the proceedings.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Systems, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing IoBM’s legacy of excellence and its role in nurturing professionals across various fields. He outlined the strengths of IoBM’s constituent colleges and urged students to view their time at IoBM as an opportunity to discover themselves and contribute meaningfully to society.

The orientation also featured guidance on campus policies and an introduction to student societies by Ms. Nida Zehra Abbas. IoBM alumnus Mubashir Bhania shared his success story, inspiring students to embrace challenges and engage in extracurricular activities to enhance their skills.

Rector IoBM, Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, concluded the event by emphasizing the importance of trust, integrity, and responsibility. He encouraged students to uphold these values throughout their academic journey.
