SMUTA Launches Nine New Standing Wings to Enhance Faculty and Academic Development

Karachi: The Sindh Madressatul Islam University Teachers’ Association (SMUTA) has initiated nine new standing wings aimed at bolstering training, welfare, and development within the university. Announced on September 4, 2024, these wings are set to enrich the academic environment and extend comprehensive support to faculty members and students alike.

According to Sindh Madressatul Islam University, the newly established wings include Training and Development, Media, Finance, Event Management and Technical Support, Conflict Resolution, Welfare and Community Service, Policy Development, Archives and Documentation, and Student Welfare. Ms. Quratulain Nazeer Ahmed, Vice President of SMUTA, highlighted that these groups are inspired by international best practices in welfare and are tailored to meet the specific needs of the university’s community.
